What the site is

Audiochan is an audio platform for intimate recordings and the scripts behind them, run by a company the pages name as Audiochan LLC of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is in English and describes itself as "the Ethical Intimate Platform". The about page promises "intimate audios performed by real voices, scripts written by real writers, and interactives that let you decide what happens next."

A free visitor gets a logged-out player on public audio pages. The public audio page on the site shows a play bar, a length and the author's notes without any login, and the privacy policy says the site counts listens "without requiring you to sign in". No page states outright that listening is free of charge, so the free claim rests on that player and on the absence of any listener price in the terms and the about page.

What loads and what you get

In October 2026 the front page loaded 2 third-party domains, boringordinary.com and cloudflareinsights.com. Across its 353 requests no ad network appears in the record, no security warning came up, and the visitor stayed on audiochan.com as the page opened. The page also shows a privacy panel on arrival: "Necessary cookies keep Audiochan working. You can also allow analytics." The buttons read Only necessary, Manage choices and Accept all. The privacy policy states that analytics run on first-party systems the site controls, and that visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland get analytics only if they accept the banner.

The home page is a feed with tabs for Audios, Scripts, Tags, For You, Trending, Following and New, plus a Filters control. In October 2026 the header's "18+" switch stood at Off on the front page, and the feed shown carried audios marked SFW. Each card carries a performer label, a title, a duration and a row of tags. Cards use short format labels such as F4M, F4A and F4F, and a SFW or NSFW marker, so a listener can see before pressing play whether a recording is meant to be explicit. The tag vocabulary is long, and each card can show "+9 more tags". A listener can follow tags and block tags, and the support page lists a question on what happens when a recording carries both a followed and a blocked tag.

Scripts are a second library. Writers post scripts that voice actors "can fill", and credits keep writers' and editors' names next to the performer. The about page lists the roles it welcomes: writers, voice actors and editors, and the range runs from ASMR and sleep meditation to roleplay and intimate audio dramas. Interactives, the choose-your-path audios, are named on the about page, though the pages do not say how many exist.

The audio player is described as "protected streaming designed to make content scraping impractical". The terms bar saving content from the site except under the script-fill permissions or applicable law. The footer links an "Install the App" page, and the pages do not say what the app is, which platforms it covers or whether it costs anything. The pages say nothing specific about mobile layout.

Logging in adds a private listening history, which the privacy policy says can be deleted for one audio or for everything, a following feed and direct messages. The contact page says support can be reached by a message form with "No account needed". The terms and privacy policy mention no listener subscription, no tokens and no premium tier, and they describe no pop-up or interstitial ads. The money in the pages sits on the creator side: the terms say script fills "may be free or use Audiochan's supported monetization features", and a Creator Services section covers paid custom work between users and creators, with the platform stating it is not a party to those agreements.

Who runs it and the rules

The terms close with "Audiochan LLC Toronto, Ontario, Canada", and the privacy policy names Audiochan LLC as data controller, with contact by email on the privacy address and a support form. The terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and federal Canadian law, with disputes going to binding arbitration there. The terms also say the site is not available in jurisdictions that prohibit adult content, and give a non-exhaustive list of countries.

On age, listeners must be at least 18 and a legal adult in their country. The privacy policy says age is enforced through account information, user attestations, moderation and access controls, and that the site "may limit access, request additional information, or take other compliance steps if required by law". The pages describe no age-check step on the front page itself.

Uploaders carry the weight of consent. They warrant that all performers are at least 18 and were at the time of recording, that they hold records of verification where others perform, and that they will provide documentation of age, identity and consent on request. This is the site's counterpart to a US performer record-keeping statement, in its own wording. Content depicting minors is prohibited, and violations end in account termination and a possible report to law enforcement. The terms name the NCMEC in the United States and the Canadian Centre for Child Protection as reporting bodies.

Removal routes run through the contact page. Anyone depicted in content may ask for its removal at any time, and the terms say that where consent is disputed the content is generally taken down pending resolution. Creators can appeal a removal within 30 days, with evidence of consent. For content reposted elsewhere without permission, the site says it will help with takedown notices. The complaints process says the team aims to acknowledge complaints "within a few business days". Account deletion is requested through support, and the account is deleted 30 days later unless canceled.

The ad rules are written for the content itself. The prohibited list includes promotional advertising, paid endorsements, discount codes and other marketing content, and profile bio and link fields may not carry them either. The privacy policy adds: "Audiochan does not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers." It also says uploaded audios and scripts are not used to train AI, and the script license excludes cloned or synthetic-voice fills. Profiles must not contain real names, selfies or addresses, which the terms frame as keeping the site pseudonymous.

Who it suits

Audiochan suits a listener who prefers audio to video, wants a pseudonymous community and would like to hear a recording before deciding to sign up. Following and blocking tags lets a listener shape the feed, and the rules about advertising, consent paperwork and removal are spelled out in the terms.

The caveats are practical. Listening needs no login, but taking part does: the audio page reads "Sign in or sign up to leave a comment." The app, its platforms and any price are not described. The terms also include a liquidated-damages clause for scraping and redistribution that the listener should read. Direct messages cannot be deleted once sent. Its strength is a documented, creator-consent-first design with a short third-party footprint on the page and a named company behind it.
